This should be the spin off series , like Dr Who's sister (Dr WHAT?), travelling in a British red phone box , rather than a British police box , as a lesbian, ethnic minority with Lenny Henry as the companion.. That would have been cool . That would be so much fun . It worked o.k. for he man and she ra, bro and his (clearly lesbian) sis . But JW isn't the doctor and will never be to traditional fans . I can watch it if I think of it as a spin off serial, but it's not the genuine thing.
If us women have to make or take male characters women in order to get pundits then there's something wrong...
Time to take the plunge and watch it....hoping not too much damage will be done to the greatest sci fi show ever .
