Referendums : great if you win bad if you loose

[Note , the orthodox Jewish position is in between both extremes  in respect of abortion, as explained by this article .]

                                                     -

So the plebs have voted the "correct" way and we can all hail the liberation of women in Ireland in having control over their reproductive parts and their abortion rights for unwanted life forms. Women's rights are on the march and are irrevocable. Anyone who opposed us on this referendum should shut up as we sisters in feminism rejoice and gloat along with the guardian, now in its second day of wall to wall coverage .

Except -

1.But it was... Only an advisory referendum- the Irish parliament has to legislate for it
2.  The voters were ignorant of what they were voting for and no one voted for hard abortion
3. Was this hard abortion or soft abortion ?
4. There should be a second vote after the Irish parliament legislation is completed
5. We should do a crowd funding, get some rich billionaire to front a court case to try and stop it
6. Nicola Sturgeon and the SNP shoehorn Scottish independence into this , somehow.
7. It's too important to trust the voters with this decision

Sound familiar?
