Sitting on the park bench watching my liberties thrown away ...

Hi All,

Sittin' in the morning sun
I'll be sittin' when the evening comes
Watching my liberties  roll in
Then I watch 'em roll away again, yeah

I'm sittin' on the park bench
Watchin' the tide of liberty roll away, ooh
I'm just sittin' on the park bench
Wastin' time
Watiting for the police to arrest me

I left my home in Yorkshire
Headed for the City of London
'Cause I've had nothing to live for
And look like nothing's gonna come my way

I'm sittin' on the park bench
Watchin' the tide of liberty roll away, ooh
I'm just sittin' on the park bench
Wastin' time
Watiting for the police to arrest me

Looks like nothing's gonna change
Everything still remains the same
I can't understand what the government tell me to do
The rules have changed 256 times in a year
So I guess I'll remain the same,  don't listen
to those who have terminal illnesses
cause we're in a global pandemic
NHS is now the CHS

Sittin' here resting my bones
And this loneliness won't leave me alone
2,000 miles I roam
Just to make this park bench my home, now
The police say I can't even sit here

I'm just gon' sit at my park bench
Watchin' the tide of civil liberty roll away, ooh
Sittin' on the dock of the bay
waitin for the police to arrest me
