Prologue

Hi All, 

The BUDKB (holdings) plc , which stood for Britische und Deutsche Kaiserliche Bankengruppe was typical of banks in the galactic and global age : an Anglo German bank, whose CEO was a Gorf  , headquartered in Frankfurt, listed on the London Stock Market , registered in Dublin for tax purposes & for regulatory purposes île de la côte d'or, which despite its French sounding was a British overseas territory and light touch to non existent regulator. The bank itself was a  vast conglomerate web a "universal" bank and insurance company, including personal, private , investment, merchant and corporate banking- insurance , spread over the world and the universe.  

The balance sheet was over € 2.5 Octillon , i.e. you add 27 zeros to the 2.5. It was too big to fail. But it was failing and no one could agree whose responsibility it was or exactly how to bail it out  and perhaps more ominously whether they had the money to ...
